Replace Dust Boot Strip Brush

Some of our Dust Boot brush plates offer a user-replaceable strip brush.

The Slim 2.0 models offer a user-replaceable strip brush. Contact us to order a replacement brush.

How to Swap your Brushes

  1. Flip your plate upside down so the brush faces upward.
  2. Grab a #1 Phillips screwdriver or driver bit and bit extension. Ideally, this is +3 inches long to clear the brush.
  3. Remove the screws.
  4. Remove the two metal plates.
  5. At this point, the old brush can be removed.
  6. Insert your brush, starting halfway along the right or left side of the brush plate.
  7. Put both metal plates back in place, as before.
  8. Replace the screws (9 on each side).
  9. We set our Milwaukee M12 driver clutch to 2 (keep it very low), you do not want to overtighten!
